Sometimes you just have to grab life by the horns and go for it. You surely don’t want to get to the end of your life and have a lot of “What if’s?”
You already know what you should do. It is just a matter of getting off your arss and taking initiative. Nobody said it would be easy, if it was, everybody would be doing it. One of my favorite quotes is by Mark Cuban. “It doesn’t matter how many times you fail. It doesn’t matter how many times you almost get it right. No one is going to know or care about your failures, and neither should you. All you have to do is learn from them and those around you because… All that matters in business is that you get it right once. Then everyone can tell you how lucky you are.”
Just like with our new venture, 321GoProject, Spealler and I talked and dreamed about what it would look like to fill a hole that exists in helping CrossFit affiliates with their branding and community building, but that’s where it stopped for quite a while, just talk, talk, talk. We had many reasons why we shouldn’t, but more reasons why we should, so… we decided to make it happen.
I stole this quote off a blog post I recently read from one of my favorite bloggers, Scott Ginsberg. “HERE’S THE REALITY: Going your own way can feel like digging your way to hell with a plastic fork. But it sure beats the career fair.”
